Are you in love... today?August Phttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14199452851899619698noreply@blogger.comBlogger1125tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5503336806967133070.post-88427445239313827652008-06-24T21:40:00.000-07:002008-06-24T21:40:49.802-07:00My Name is Mrs. P.Wassup folks! This is my first blog, so let's get to it.

Welcome to my spot on the Net. My hope is that we can converse, laugh, and share because there's nothing like married life. N-O-T-H-I-N-G.

I got married on September 24, 2005, so I'm coming to the end of my "newlywed" phase--hopefully only technically... if you know what I mean... *wink, wink, nudge, nudge*

First point... I live in Married Land and I love, love, LOVE my husband. Really, I do... and best of all, I actually have a happy marriage. Can you believe it? I find it a sad truth that not too many people say that. Instead, most married folk act like it's a death sentence rather than a blessing.

I know what you're thinkin...

Why do I blog then? ...because my name's not Saint August. It's Mrs. August P. ...and it took me umpteen years to earn that Mrs., so I wear it proudly! ...but let's face it... things annoy me... yep, even about my wonderful, laid-back honeydip.

I met Hubby in the summer of 1984 working in good ole Mickey D's. He was ah-ight... our idea of quality time was phone time after work. We never saw each other outside of work at first, so that was it. I wasn't in love, wasn't looking for anything, but there he was.

Whoda thunk it? married with children... and only after 20 years...

Being married makes life a whole lot different. It certainly gives you another perspective on life and love, that's for sure. Sometimes I love his dirty drawlz... other days he makes me so dayum sick I can barely stand to look at him. ...but that's love, right? ...at least, it's married love, anyway. I know *I'm* not leavin'... somebody is gonna have to die to get up outta this Mr. and Mrs. situation, so I might as well share my stories and let y'all share yours so we can ALL survive.

Today?

I'm in loooooooooooove. :-) ...but I'm sure the "special" lemonade helps...August Phttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14199452851899619698noreply@blogger.com1
